Just about every industry has its celebrated figures and in the field of plastic surgery, Dr. Jennifer Walden is a major player. This woman is the epitome of female empowerment to the highest degree. The all-state soccer player grew-up in the Northwest Hills section of Austin, Texas. After she graduated from high school, she would go on to attend the University of Texas. While attending this fine institution, she would attain an under graduate degree while graduating as her class’ salutatorian.
The University of Texas Medical Branch was her next stop, and she didn’t disappoint. Walden held a hectic schedule as she was elected the president of the Alpha Omega Honor Medical Society. During this time, she would receive an externship with Miami’s Plastic Surgery Associates. She got a chance to work closely with world-renowned surgeon Dr. Tom Baker. While at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Walden would go on to earn her M.D., she graduated with honors, and she was the salutatorian of her class. All of this greatness has manifested into what she is today. Walden was just announced as being a new board member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
